Nathuram Godse
I think I don’t have go in detail about this person. In this blog I am going to put my opinion why the youth of this generation want to be like Nathuram Godse not to be like Mahatma Gandhi. I am sorry I am not keeping my promise of continuation of previous blog. The reason behind is need more time to study and analysis before write anything.
The reason given by Nathuram Godse for killing Mahatma is to protect Hindu and others from Muslim. As Mahatma was favouring Muslims in partition time and He was the reason behind the partition of India.
Now we have studied in our history about freedom struggle and many of us had scored good marks. We know Mahatma has given us non-violence movement and after almost 50 years of non-violence we got our freedom. I am not going to discuss the freedom struggle may be some other time. The Mahatma has come from a wealthy family. He has completed his law degree from England and was practicing law. If we compare his position in recent time he would have been owner of latest Audi version, jaguar or private jet. So this person gave away everything to fight for cause which was considered to be suicidal or impossible. Now the people will say he has not done anything it was the media at that time helped him glorify his certain things. It means the British government was unaware about the media? Or they were not able to read the news paper as they were in regional languages? Or Mahatma was faking all non-violence and wearing one piece of cloth is just to get noticed? If we compare any person in this time he would think to settle down in US and drive Audi. Why rich people even engineering student starts preparing for GRE in 6th semester and starts imagining what he will do in thanks giving day.
Now come back to Mr.Godse he might be correct in his some opinion as Mahatma was human he would done some mistakes. He felt he was victim of Mahatma few decision and want to take revenge. The same way Mahatma would have felt that he was victim of British Empire and to take revenge. Now the difference comes Mahatma not only felt his pain but the pain of other Indians were he saw poverty, fear and hopelessness. So he started to wake up every person self esteem and fight against British Empire in his way. It would have required patience, hard work and hope. Now if Mr. Godse wanted to be saviour he would have educated people about the loss Hindus has taken because of Mahatma. But instead he wanted a personal revenge don’t want to think about rest of the crowd and help them. Who will do the boring work of educating people about right and wrong? Just kill one guy...That’s it..!! He didn’t think about the rest of population and didn’t feel to lead them..!! Because he knew he would get death penalty and dead people doesn’t lead anyone.
In this generation people wants quick results. The current generation likes magi because it takes only two minutes to cook. So the Nathuram Godse is more realistic to them rather than Mahatma.
